Sudden raised mole on 4 yo's back - any advice?

DS (4) got what looked like a skin tag on his back about 4 weeks ago. Now it's a small raised mole. About the side of an apple seed, slightly browny pink. Should I take him to the dr or is this just a normal thing?

I would take him to the gp to check it out. It could be a skin tag or molluscum contagiosum or a mole.
