Has now been diagnosed in California in children who actually had been vaccinated against polio, but this virus is related to polio (entero virus) but not polio. Not many cases thankfully, but at the moment no cure available.
Researchers are asking for general public and GPs and neurologists to be aware of this disease and the symptoms as they expect that there are cases in other parts of the world which have not been diagnosed or have been misdiagnosed
