Possible cracked rib

DS (9) came back from a sleepover this morning in a lot of pain, having fallen over last night onto another child's foot. I've no idea what shape her foot is in, but DS has been crying on and off ever since. It hurts more when he coughs or sneezes, and is better if he's sitting down.

It's Saturday night, and I'm loathe to go to A&E - is that neglectful? I'm thinking they can't do anything anyway. What do you think?

Advice from OOH and appointment in the morning? How is he now?

Asleep now, Calpoled up. Am going to see how he is in the morning, then ring NHS Direct.

Seems A LOT better now - occasional pain still, but nothing like how he was feeling at the beginning of the weekend. I think you may be right - a pulled muscle or similar.
