DD is 18 months. Started with really snotty nose, croaky voice and cough a few days ago. Has been sick three times today (projectile). Has a temp of 38, despite calpol and nurofen. Has no interest in ant food, just wants to flop on our chest.

Tried water, took a little. Did a normal poo and wet nappy, just not as much as usual.

She had a febrile seizure at Christmas, so I suppose I'm more on edge.

I would if floppy

Winterbluessummersoonish · 08/02/2014 18:50

You could ring 111, it's the 'flopping on your chest' that is the red flag in your symptom list.

Jemma1111 · 08/02/2014 18:53

I too would say that if your dds 'listless' then I would get her checked out if I were you .

Mumof3xx · 08/02/2014 18:56

If her temp isn't coming down and she is flopping then yes

crazykat · 08/02/2014 18:57

I'd take her. My ds2 (15 months) got very sleepy and floppy with a fever ad cough a few weeks ago. He had a very bad chest infection and was almost admitted but luckily the antibiotics kicked in quickly.

Stressedtothehilt · 08/02/2014 19:11

Yep ooh. My dd1 had febrile seizures a lot and repeatedly after the first one so you're right to be on your guard

beautifulgirls · 08/02/2014 21:00

Yes for sure a&e, though hopefully you have already gone by the time I am posting.

BeaWheesht · 08/02/2014 23:00

I'd get her seen

AngelinaCongleton · 08/02/2014 23:01

Yes I would

furlinedsheepskinjacket · 09/02/2014 14:47

any news op? hope alls well

Runlikeareindeer · 13/02/2014 13:32

Sorry, they said just viral. Give calpol/nurofen together and keep giving milk/water.

She's getting better again now.
