Dd is a snot monster

Dd is 3 and has had a cold for 3 weeks now - she is ok in herself (although days sore tummy occasionally) but is producing gallons of neon green snot. (Sorry)

She also has a mucus cough which I presume is post nasal drip related.

Have done steam, Vicks, lots of rest and fluids and vitamin C, fresh air, and tried saline spray but she becomes hysterical.

So, any tips on anything else I could try?

Hi, my ds had to remove dairy from his diet 3 years ago and he hasn't has a bad runny/snotty nose since!

Thanks guys. Interesting. She does eat a lot of dairy in yogurts and cheese etc, how long did it take to see results?

I don't know to be honest because I was removing cows milk to help his eczema which was really bad. It took 4 months for the eczema to totally clear up but there was improvement in the first week.
