Tell me about worms

DS (3) has just come out of nappies. He did a poo this morning that was completely normal. Since then he's been complaining that there are 'crumbs' in his bottom (it's clean) and is itching it. Could this be the start of worms?

Could be, though worms are more commonly felt (especially at the beginning) at bedtime/night.

could also be the poo was a bit hard/big and made him a bit sore afterwards? dd2 had a teeny fissure at this age, I remember.
