my dd seems to be a little uncomfy , occasionally shuffling or trying to grab down below when nappy changing. there is sime redness on her labia that has been present since she had hives a week or so ago but for the most part it doesnt bother her tho tonight she seems different....

any ideas. have put nappy cream on and it usually eases the redness. is this normal after some dirty nappues anyway where a partic acid poo may have irritated ??

Poor baby! My DD had similar a few weeks ago, and the nurse recommended putting 4 tbsp of baking soda in a bath and letting her sit in it for a while. She said not to use soap, and to bathe her like this as many times as possible for a couple of days. Worked really well.

Put barrier cream on in the morning and make sure nursery change her quickly.

Give her air time as well.

Could it be thrush? If it doesn't clear up, see a GP.
