Panty liners for a four year old?

Dd2 gets recurrent thrush (she has type 1 diabetes)

Been to see gp again and they advised to keep using canesten. The thing is dd HATES the feeling of it and gets upset saying it makes her knickers cold and wet and she hates cream.
I can't put her in pull-ups ( she wears them at night but they tend to make the soreness worse and if she wears one she won't then use the toilet).

I was wondering if using a panty liner might be better? The thing is sheneedshelp using the toilet at pre school and I wondered if they might think it was odd if she wore one. I've tried a bit of tissue but it stick stoner and she doesn't like that either.

Not sure what to do?

I send my 3yo into nursery wearing a 'Dry Like Me' pad. We've just started toilet training & they're really handy things! I buy them from my online sainsbo shop Smile

I've never heard of those I will see if I can get some.

I know some liners are fragranced too and I don't want that to make her thrush worse so they might be better. A proper pull up doesn't let her skin breathe at all and she weeks in it as knows she doesn't have to use the toilet if wearing it.

You can get panty liners in health stores (the kind that sell homeopathic type stuff) or online, which are cotton - they might be better on her skin.

What about re-usable liners? People make and sell them on Folksy and Etsy so you might be able to find someone to custom make some smaller ones.

I think cotton ones would be ideal, I make sure all her underwear is cotton but wearing pull ups in the night really makes her sore and I don't want to cause the same problem in the day with a liner.

Will see what I can find. I tried putting a normal one on her today and she kept talking about her "panther liner"!
