2 yo bad breath

Noticed it about a week ago. She's had a bad cold for the last 3-4 days but rhe bad breath was just before that.

Are they linked?

Its not noticeable unless you're very close but is pretty bad.

we brush her teeth twice a day and tongue.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Bad breath and respiratory track infections are linked, if you are worried about it then take her to see gp (if cold still has a hold). You can give her plenty of water to flush her system, things like Manuka honey and lemon in warm water can help if she has a sore throat.

I can tell when DS will get a cold as his breath smells.

It's good to know its cold related so will go away once the cold has gone. Thank you.
