normal for 13 mo old to constantly catch colds?!

is it really normal to get back to back colds coughs etc? feels like he's had illnesses one after the other for 3 months or more Sad

Is he at nursery or going to toddler groups? Then, yes.

My Dc was ill for her entire second winter as we started to socialise more!

I knew it'd be bad (dh had no idea!!) but even I'm starting to feel it's a bit much!

thing is, I'm having to take time off when he's really ill / nursery won't have him (the runs, hives, never half piriton beforeHmm ) but then I flipping catch it and am taking time off for me too! (v bad chest infection).

waaaaaa when does it stop?!?!

I'm a teacher so get germs from both directions Confused

Sorry to say I had this when my ds started nursery and then loads of people told me it happened to them too! It took about 8 months for him to catch everything and then build up an immune system. Well meaning people told me children who don't go to nursery just then get all this when they start school, not sure if that's correct or not! I took loads of time off work too, it was a real pain.
