What to do if your GP is closed

May I ask if there are many options for you in this case?

What if you need to change your child's prescription medicine but your GP is closed today.

I can only think of another option: book a session with the out-of-hours GP at your local hospital.

Is there any other option? I tried calling a local pharmacy but they said they could not do anything without a new prescription from GPs.

Walk in clinic, or here you can also phone OOH and they find a local OOH GP.
