My DDs , 13 and 11years have started to get a horrible red, raised and itchy rash on their legs after showering. I presume it's a heat rash or similar but the shower is not hot, does anyone else have this? They have had it for a few months now and I have tried changing soaps etc. it's really uncomfortable for them for a couple of hours after showering/ bathing then disappears.

Have you had a look at cholinergic urticaria? Does that match the symptoms?

Yes it is quite similar although I have never noticed it with sweating. Thank you I will have a look into it further

The good news if it is that is that it usually resolves itself.
I probably would go to the Gp as well though, just to rule out fungal infection.

I get a rash on my legs after showering, it is a lot better if I put cream on afterwards. I think the shower dries you out.
