I think my 6 uear old daughter has thrush

Hi I think my daughter has vaginal thrush she's very itchy and red n sore I've been putting cream on her it seems to be working a bit I've got an appointment at the docs for her 2mora I was wondering will she be able to go to school still or best to keep her off

Talk to your GP. They may be able to prescribe something for it. It depends on how she feels. If she is very itchy still, keep her off because it will be embarrassing for her if every one looks at her while she is itching. Ask your GP if she should or shouldn't go to school. Your GP may want to look at your DD's vagina. Hope she recovers soon Smile.

Thank you for your advice it really helped I'll see what the doctor says n if she's still itchy I'll keep her off plus she says she's very sore down there :-) x

Ask him about lichen sclerosis (often misdiagnosed as thrush (disastrously)).
