Molluscum - finally cured it

It's been over a year now for DD, and roughly 9 months for the boys, but we are now almost free of the dreaded spots.

I started with molludab about 3 months ago and it has almost cleared them up entirely. It's too much of a coincidence that my 3 children (having caught it at different times) are now free of it. It's expensive and it does sting but after begging my GP for bottles of the stuff I won't be needing it anymore!

DS who has excema has it the worst and was almost covered over his body. Now his legs haven't quite cleared up but they on on their way out.

Just wanted to post as I know lots of you are struggling with it and this is something that does take time, but works and is registered and sold in the UK (Boots if your GP refuses to give it to you)

Honestly not meaning to disagree but i thought molluscum clears up when your children develop an antibody that provides subsequent immunity. Doesn't seem too coincidental that your kids would develop this at the same time?

Either way, glad you're free of the horror!

Looks like molludab provokes the body into inflaming and 'fighting off' the MC in the absence of the antibody. I think that chicken pox may have the same effect -my son's MC suddenly inflamed post CP and it now looks like it's on the way out.
