My 5.5 yr old DS, the last two nights he has knocked his post school drink all over, he constantly trips over (usually because he is messing or not paying attention) he is so careless and just drops everything, breaks everything and is constantly having accidents, he always falls over at school, nothing major just constantly covered in mud.
Last term he got an accident form because he was walking aling not watching where he was going and went face first into some metal railings so he had a massive graze right down his face.

It's driving me dotty!

My 5yo dd is exactly the same, hardly a day goes by without her coming out of school with bumps and grazes, she just doesn't pay attention, also spills her drink most days, she is a wee dreamer and doesn't notice what's going on around her, also NEVER stops chatting which I don't think helps :) hoping it's just a phase, although she's been like this since she could walk, drives me dotty too, and I'm a nervous wreck waiting for the next bump x

Have you had his eyes checked recently. I would, it can be a sign that things are not working properly. Just found out my dc2, has a squint and small vision loss, in one eye.

My son turns 5 in 3 months and is exactly the same. He is like a human tornado destroying everything in his path. Spills drinks (or pours them straight down himself). Is always in such a rush and tries to do 3 things at one causing accidents, mayhem and general madness. It drives me crazy, waiting for this phase to pass then onto the next one no doubt lol! x
