Chickenpox

Anyone know how long the infectious stage of chickenpox lasts. My DD came up in spots on Sunday. She's five. Not too ill but very itchy.

until the spots crust over - from memory I thought it was about a week... hopefully some one else will come along and help

5-7 days after the spots start, once they are all crusted over.
Hope she's not suffering too much.

Thank you everyone for your messages. She's not that ill but still itchy. I have also read that it is about 5-7 days.
