Big teeth coming through but milk teeth still there......

My 8 year old has a bottom big tooth coming through behind his milk teeth. Milk teeth are not even a little loose.
Hoping to get to the dentist this week, hoping they won't suggest extracting his milk teeth but don't know what else they can do.
Any experience anyone-

It's not unusual and completely normal. My dd's teeth were like that, as were mine. Nothing needs to be done, the milk teeth will fall out eventually.

And it's not a big deal having milk teeth out. Both of mine did when they didn't budge.

both mine had the bottom teeth come in behind the baby teeth. As they grew they pushed the baby teeth out

Nothing to worry about. My DS had them on the bottom - they are called Pediatric Shark Teeth.

DS loved this btw.

The big teeth will push through and the bottom ones will fall out. If they don't after a few weeks go back to the dentist to check.

Thank goodness for some sensible advice ladies. For some reason I was freeking out, probably because I had a bad dentist when I was young.
I will get to the dentist and see what they say.
Thanks
