Baby girl sore bits :(

11 month old dd is very sore around her privates. Started on Xmas day when she had been a bit constipated then did 4 big poo's.
It's sore and looks red/inflammed along her perineum. Dr prescribed canasten cream on mon, have been bathing her and using cotton wool balls instead of wipes is there anything else I can do?
(Was using metanium but dr said to Switch to sudacream whist using the canasten)

Couple of drops of tea tree oil in her bath?

maybe an antibiotic cream would be better than canesten, could be a little infected? and i swear by bepanthen over sudocrem x

If possible get as much nappy free time as you can. I second bepanthen.

Are you breast feeding?If so that works a treat. Dd has allergies and when her poo is runny it burns her in seconds,then the sore bot cycle begins.
I tried all the creams,dr prescribed some too. All failed. I used b milk once when desperate -it worked .
Now she is clear our routine is cotton wool and warm water followed by calendula cream.At the first glimpse of redness I squirt away!
