2 mins before heading out to school this morning I notice the tell-tale red blistery spot on DD2's collar bone. It's been doing the rounds in school this term.
DD1 had it years ago and DD2 then 3yo seemed to avoid it, thankfully, but now it seems it's her turn.
Question is am I right to keep DD1 off school an in isolation too? I'm just worried that even though she's had it she (and I) are carrying it around on us, on our clothes etc. Probably a stupid, germ-phobic question I know!
I'd hate for us to be responsible for infecting someone else esp. at this time of year.

It isn't "carried" on clothes etc , but airborne so only the contagious person can pass it on. It is possible to have more than once though .

Your dd1 can go about her normal business, no need to keep her in isolation too
