Neck lump

My 10 year old seems to have what looks like a lump in the middle of her throat area. Almost like an Adam's apple.

Anyone any ideas?

Going to get a GP appt but just wondered if anyone experience this and it's normal?

Could be a thyroglossal cyst. My DS1 had one, had to have it removed.

Does it go up and down when she swallows? I have one and it's a nodule (completely benign) on my thyroid!

Went to GO today, think its a thyroid nodule to go back if feel its getting bigger , phew
