14 week old being sick: reflux?

DS from about 8 weeks old was having screaming fits and I took him to the doctors with suspicions it was silent reflux (no sick). The medicine worked really well for him and the pain stopped really quickly which was brilliant.
I have now decided to try wean him off the medicine to make sure he wasn't having it for no reason (apparently the valve that causes it can mature and make it stop).
He probably stopped taking it 2 weeks ago and now he seems to throw up maybe 3 times a day and it's a fair amount of clear liquid that comes up.

I'm not sure if this is reflux related or not?

Any ideas?
If this had been a poor description feel free to ask questions, I can be terrible with wording things Grin

Something I should add is he is himself he doesn't seem I'll or anything. He was just sick then carried on kicking, squealing and smiling his head off Smile

I would run it by the GP. However, if he doesn't appear to be in pain and is not loosing weight, you might be in luck, and he might just be a 'happy chucker' noe.

I am also currently weaning my 7 month old off reflux medication (had silent reflux mainly), and have noticed more vomiting since off medication but I guess you have to expect that. It does really help that now he is upright a lot more.

Took my 6 week old to the osteo today as I think he has mild reflux (know what bad reflux is as my sister's 3 DC have had it) and have heard that it can help.

He said that reflux medication can make the body produce more stomach acid so maybe it will take a while for his body to re-adjust?

My DS seems more settled this evening - but maybe that's me hoping!
