Baby hit head

My 17 month old was in her chair (a chair that is on a chair, 3 way strap as she's been climbing out the high chair). Dh was looking after them while I had a lie in and she tipped back (hes not sure exactlt what happened, just she was on the floor) and hit her head on the side. Big ridge on her head as if she'd hit the window. She apparently cried for a little bit and carried on as normal. Dh taken her down to a and e to get her checked out as the lump was pretty big. The ridge has disappeared now and replaced by a lump. I'm at home with the other 2 children. Do you think we are over reacting taking her down. She wasn't sick, or confuesed or anything - height of the fall is what worries me. I'm sure I read somewhere its the kids who don't cry for long that you worry about most! Anyway, anxiously waiting news!

If you were worried, you were right to take her. They'd rather see her than not I would think.

Better to get her checked out. I would do the same. I've taken my ds to a&e before for falling off the bed onto carpet. Is she still waiting to be seen?
