Hi, having a hard time with son, he has a fear of catching germs and being sick, wont go out unless its once a week to grandparents, I home school my son, can't leave the house without a massive meltdown so I only get out once a week to go to jobcentre. Waiting for Asperger's tests but feeling really down and helpless to help and nhs is useless, its been 2 years and my son is getting worse. Going through a split from ex but because my son wont stay over night at ex home without getting upset, he still has to come round regular to see son, which is making the split harder. Regarding Aspies test, son has had trouble making friends, intense interests, sensitive and small for age. I have to go to jobcentre but I can't go to work and leave him because he is so anxious and will hide in room if anyone so much has knocks at the front door. If any mum/dads have advice that might help I would be grateful, also could i get carers allowance. Son is 11yrs but acts and looks younger, also have 9 year old son. Ex has dp and has been on antidepressants and is good with the children but not emotionally supportive towards me, feel alone with it all and cried most of yesterday.
