Strong smelling nappies

My 7month old has really strong smelling urine since yesterday . He has no fever , could be teething again as his drool has increased, cheeks are flushed and he a bit cranky. I have googled and some people say that teething can cause this. But it didn't happen with his last two teeth.
Has anyone experienced this before? I'm thinking of taking him to the doctor just incase it is a urine infection .

Urine often smells strong when you're a bit dehydrated - and if he's drooling a lot, maybe he is. Try giving him water, but would pop to the doctors to be on the safe side. If it is a urine infection, you could do with seeing the doc before the weekend.
