Drinking after vomiting

DS 22 months was vomiting til about 1am last night. He has woken up this morning saying he's really thirsty.

How much should I let him drink? He refused water and has already had a beaker of squash - I am trying to get him to drink slowly.

He is now asking for more - should I let him drink more?

Yes, I'd let him have as much as he wants but maybe not let him down it too quickly. He's thirsty because he's lost a lot of fluid and it's really important that he starts to replace that, hope he's on hrs mend soon.
