I'm looking to hear from anyone with experience of infants with hernias - please no absolute horror stories, I cannot handle it.
At my babies 6 week check the dr picked up on an umbilical hernia which has got bigger as the weeks gone on. He is 7.5 weeks and has now developed a herniated bowel in his groin, which he will be operated on for, we await contact from the surgeon.
I'd like to hear how he will be after the operation, how long the op takes, how long he will be in hospital for assuming all goes well ect basically anything you can tell me. I'm pretty terrified as the closest Ive ever come to an op was my emcs. I've never been under.
