Non prescribed boots for mildly hyper mobile 19MO

Hi

DD is 19MO and has just seen a Physio who confirmed that she is mildly hyper mobile (ankle weakness). She's just starting to walk on her own and Physio recommended I buy some cheap sturdy boots just to get her walking properly. The pair she recommended aren't made any more (mothercare), was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations? She doesnt need an orthopaedic boot. She is size 3.5 so quite small.

Thanks!

DD1 had these when she first started walking, with hypermobile joints. We then moved on to Kicker boots and Doc Martens.

Thanks! That's really helpful, will give them a go.

My DS has hypermobility and so far I've found the Ecco brand have been the best boots for him. They are not that cheap though unless you can get some in the sales.

ds1 (diagnosed hypermobile) not prescribed shoes but have been told to get star rite boots although we have found hush puppies are good as they come with a selection of different depth insoles which we can use to get the right fit for his orthotics - he has shallow flat feet and floppy ankles Smile
Great time of year to get shoes/boots though! I find summer is a night mare for supportive shoes
