What to feed a sick baby?

DD is 11 months old. She was sick just after going to bed last night bringing up everything she'd eaten for tea and her milk. This morning she has brought up all her morning milk and breakfast. It might seem a daft question, but do I keep on feeding her as usual?! I have been giving her plenty of water to keep her hydrated, but should I give her lunch even if I think she will bring it up and if so, what should I give her? She seems fine in herself. She's never been a sicky baby, so this is all a bit new to me!

Milk, water and bland things, think the 'BRAT' foods - banana, rice, apple, toast.

We can all, even babies, cope with not eating for a day as long as we have liquids but trying with some bland foods won't hurt. Just try a small amount and see how it goes. I am sure you know to ask medical advice if it continues

Brings back memories of my nephew puking whole 8ounce bottle of milk all over me :)

Great, thanks. Think she has just picked up a bug, but will get medical advice if she gets worse or it continues much longer.

You're welcome :) I was on my own when DS was little but my DM was a nurse so I could always phone her when I wasn't sure.

9/10 it's just a tummy bug so bland foods, or no food but plenty of water will flush it out, I just didn't want to discount anything more serious.

Thanks & Brew hope LO is better soon
