Breastfeeding for improved immunity from infection..

I have a 29 month old son who has a 39/40 degree temp for the third time this autumn - bound to be plenty more as he's at nursery two mornings a week. I also have a 7 week old girl who I'm breast feeding and she has managed to fend off the worst of all of his infections with nothing worse than a runny nose. I'm sure that breast milk is the main contributor, but I was wondering if I were to express and give some to my son again (I was still BF him last winter and he barely had a sniffle) it would help his immunity. Thoughts would be appreciated!

Thanks.

I did this when swine flu was around. I was tailing off expressing for then 6mo DD but shared it between her and then 2yo DS. They both went down with something but weren't anywhere near as ill as I was.
