Head problems

Hi everyone!

I'm just after I a bit of advise please. I have 2 girls 22 months and 10 months old. Both born prem eldest at 35 weeks, second at 29 weeks due to placental problems - I was in slow labour from 20 weeks - the joys! But gained 2 beautiful girls from this.

My question is about my youngest. She was born at 29 weeks. She was fine. Just weight gain. 11 months old and she's only 13lbs - bless! Anyway, I've noticed her head looks very misshapen on the back. She has lots of hair which is why I've only just noticed this by the way! I was washing her head and at the back of her crown, on the right side it's more sticking out than the rest of the back of her head!

She doesn't have any problems! She's healthy. She has astigmatism in her left eye that's it. And just tiny due to prematurity. I was wondering if anyone can enlighten me on this swollen side of her head?

She's sat up a lot (though she can't sit up properly yet - Nearly there) but I always make sure she is sat up in her walker, bumbo chair and when we are playing she is propped up! Comparing this to the eldest - her head is all round!

Any ideas?

Tia!

Just to be on the safe side, it would probably be best to see your GP or Health Visitor.
