Yesterday 3yo DS had a shower with me and he slipped and smashed down on the corner of the bath handles (over bath shower).

He's been in pain with it ever since, but he picks up when he's had Nurofen. He can't really sit on it so he lying down on the sofa as he says it's too painful to sit.

I've hurt my tailbone before and know it hurts like hell, so I was just going to keep him topped up on medicine, but MIL thinks he needs it checked out as he could have damaged it.

Is it worth going to minor injuries with it? I hate making a fuss & wasting NHS time!

How is he now? I think I would get it looked at just to be on the safe side. Hope he is feeling better, sounds painful!

I remember hurting mine when I fell on the stairs a few years ago. I didn't get it checked out and wish I had. It hurt like mad for months. Every time I sat down I had an excruciating burning pain in my bum. My advice would be to get it checked out. Little ones don't have much padding around their bum. I have more than enough but still hurt myself. Hope it settles soon ??
