Is it Hand, foot and mouth?

My 22 month old has 2 sores on his chin and I've just seen 2 more on his tongue. He also got a nappy rash a day or two ago which has turned into a spread of blisters/sores.
Feet and hands appear ok.
He's been pretty irritable and not sleeping well but is eating fine and does
not have a fever.
Any ideas what's wrong? Is it HFMD? I'll try and get him a doc appt tomorrow I think

It does sound like it. There is a lot going around at the moment. Rash/blisters not necessarily on hands or feet, temp, cough and just generally unwell are all symptoms

I've just had this, sounds like it could be. They look like little red dots then turn to blistery spots then fade, they are oval rather than round. Be scrupulous when hand waging after nappy changes as the poo carries the bug for around a month after first symptoms.

thanks
we have a doc appt at 5. He's sounding all throaty today too. I'm worried the baby (5 months) will get it too. DH is also ill, though his more like flu. I'm next no doubt
