My friend's ds has hfam. We've not seen them for a while so my ds won't have caught it directly by he is under the weather today and has a temp between 38-39. No sores as of yet though. Sad
I eas wondering if it could be passed on through carriers as my dh works with friends dh?

Hmmm I'm not certain but I don't think children can catch this through carriers. My ds had hand foot and mouth last month and I was told that adults don't tend to get it, and children infect each other by touching each other with the spotty hands etc. also when my ds had it he had no temperature or any other symptoms - just a rash that started on his bum then spread down his legs, and onto his belly and hands. Hth

It's spread the same as chicken pox I think?

Can also be spread through poo weeks after it's gone
