DS and poo problems...

For the last fortnight or so, every bowel movement DS (2.10) has had has been very loose/diarrhea, sometimes with undigested food and sometimes with 'coffee granules' in it (that was the bit that worried me)

I have taken him to the GP who was very dismissive and just said that toddlers guts are under developed and therefore unpredictable

He's ok within himself, eating and drinking normally, no temperature etc, si am I just being a bit pfb to be concerned about it?

Ds had this recently, I wasn't terribly concerned as he was still well in himself and eating and drinking normally. However after a while I thought I better get it checked out. The gp prescribed a week of antibiotics and sent off a stool sample which came back negative and it all cleared up after the course of abs. However now he has painful constipation!
