DD is nearly 5 & for past fee mths has be dashing to the loo saying shes desperate for a wee but when she tries to go nothing comes. She eats & drinks normally, is a little petite but otherwise healthy. She has recently bern tested for uti's as was complaining of pain when passing urine but this was negative.

Any ideas? Should I be concerned or is it just a hypersensitive bladder?

Not much of an idea, but wanted to bump for you.

If I were you I would go back, and try the same doctor again. If you dont get any joy from her, I would see a different GP in the practice, as it sounds like it still needs further investigation.

Thats what I was thinking. She doesn't seem bothered by it but don't want to leave it & find out she has a problem further down the line.

Has she just started school? DS has had the same thing, though it did eventually result in a bladder infection but he tested negative earlier. I wonder if they are holding on during the school days more than their little bladders can handle - he hates using school loos? Just a thought.
