My DD has had a sore throat for a few days, I noticed this morning that she had white spots on her tonsils so took her to the docs first thing and was prescribed antibiotics for tonsillitis. They are doing something at school tomorrow that she really doesn't want to miss so I'm wondering whether I should send her or not? She hasn't got a temp, is fine in herself, just hurts to swallow. I didn't think tonsillitis was contagious but friend thinks it is and I should keep her off. Does anyone have any idea whether I should keep her off or not? TIA
