My first daughter is coming up to her 4th birthday and I was wondering whether or not to vaccinate her against measles, mumps and rubella at all. I've heard of proven research about it causing autism along with other side effects. What are your thoughts fellow Mums?

the research on mmr adverse effects of vaccines and causality.

Vaccine websites which meet credibility and good information criteria practice

Personally having done research into it it was a no brainer for me, and actually one of the more important vaccines to have simply because the chances of contracting the diseases was a very real risk.

The study which showed a correlation between autism and the MMR injection has been disproved so any link is rubbish!
Personally I would vaccinate my child against anything as deadly as measles mumps or rubella.
I also would rather have a child with autism than a kid whose dead or severely disabled through any of these diseases sorry if this sounds harsh

Sigh.

I'll get the popcorn.
