It was my dp who pointed it out but he's sahd who is with ds all day. My ds is 2yo and seems to be persistently rubbing his right eye. Doesn't look like there's anything wrong with it tho. He just keeps rubbing it (not while asleep though). Should I get it checked out?

I would take him for an eye test

Dd rubs her worse eye when she's not wearing her glasses

Yes..they can be eye tested at 2..he could be becoming slightly long sighted in that eye..it's very common. Just go to any optician.

My son did the same. Turned out to be allergic conjunctivitis. Took him into optician who were incredibly kind and helpful. Better than going to doc. In fact, they examined him using tv screen magnifying thing. They actually write letter for me to take to doc to say what it was and recommend what ought to be given. Some sort of drop but for allergic reaction and piriton medicine for little ones. I also had to dampen cosmetic cotton pads with warm water and try to give him an eye bath (all of 19 seconds was all he would do). Swapped to other eye before treatment started.
Not saying your son has same thing but would def recommend u pop into a v good local optician.

I would take him as a matter of urgency, my ds has the same and it was orbital cellulosis (google it) which is v dangerous, its prob not but just in case. Hope he gets better soon x
