Hi Ladies, keeping my fingers crossed that someone may have come across these symptoms that my DD has.
Put simply she is very red and itchy in her genital area. We visited the GP almost two weeks ago only to be given an appointment with the practise nurse who after barely three seconds examining her declared thrush and sent us off with a prescription for canesten cream. Fast forward to now. We are on holiday in Australia and have been applying said cream regularly and giving loads and loads of no nappy time. Stone floors in our apartment mean that she is very rarely dressed when at home! However all this seems not to help at all. She is still incredibly red and is attempting to scratch like mad. We are going to visit another GP whilst here but I wondered if anyone had any advice. She has never had any discharge or smell from the area so could it perhaps be something else??
