Ds with asthma/allergies what age did you leave yours at parties etc

DS1 (5, in yr 1) has asthma/allergies. I haven't left him at a party on his own yet as although he knows when he needs his inhaler and how to do it, he can't manage to push it down on his own.

He has been on a play date but I know the mum is early years trained and was confident with it.

What age did you leave your child at parties etc? Don't want to make him anxious but worry about him.

Ds was 4 and in reception he has multiple allergies and chronic asthma. He used to go on play dates when he was in nursery. I was never that far away and he was able to do his inhaler from very young. He always and still does take his own food for parties and every since tiny knew not to have any other food.
