Pain relief for broken bones.. Quick advice please.

DS broke his wrist yesterday, the hospital said Calpol for pain but it's not really helping, can I give him anything else or get anything over the counter that might help more? He's 6. Thanks.

You could give him ibuprofen syrup. That's all I use for ds3 (7) as calpol doesn't agree with him. Poor ds.

You can use ibuprofen and calpol together - set the doses so that he has a dose of something every couple of hours.
