When can we leave the house?

My son is 16 months old and he is currently teething (2 canines coming through) and he's got a nasty cough which started on Sunday. He hasn't got a temperature or anything, so ordinarily I'd just make sure he was wrapped up warm and carry on pretty much as normal, with calpol/teething gel as appropriate if he seemed to be in a lot of pain from the teething.

However, there is another issue - yesterday morning he did a pooh which was very diarrhoea-y, and this morning the same again. I don't think it's a D&V type bug though, because he'd be poohing a lot, wouldn't he? And he's just doing one a day, same as normal (and isn't vomiting).

Could his teething be affecting his pooh? We've stayed in the house yesterday and today because I didn't want to pass it on, but we're both starting to go a bit mental tbh and would like to get out to a toddler group tomorrow! Should I wait until he does a normal pooh before I expose him to other children? His appetite went completely on Monday, but it seems to have returned this evening, if that's relevant.

TIA for any thoughts
