I've never had a coldsore in my life neither has my partner but my dd who is 6mths today looks like she has one on her bottom lip should I be worried? Should she go to the drs? It's literally just appeared!

It's unlikely. Primary herpes usually results in blisters all inside the mouth and on the tongue, they would also be quite unwell with it.

Does your daughter have a dummy or a bottle? Sometimes they can cause a blister. Keep an eye on it and if you are still concerned or she seems unwell or gets blisters in her mouth then seek a drs opinion.
I'm not a professional just have had experience with coldsores

You can also have the cold sore virus but never have an outbreak, a lot of people do have the virus in their body just have never had one appear.

She has a dummy once in a while and is breastfed, no other blisters that I can see, just a red patch on her bottom lip, would it be wet/puss looking straight away? It's really red.

If its just a red patch and not a blister she could have scratched herself or anything. Don't panic! Just keep an eye out, if it develops further or anything the contact your dr.
