ds diarrhoea for 2 weeks

ds is 3 in 1 month time.

He went back to nursery 2 weeks ago and ever since then has had the runs, anything from twice to 4/5 times a day. Watery and mucousy. Other than that he is fine, sleeping fine and wants food.

What is this?! Is it a bug? He had rotavirus when he was 15mo and it seemed different to this.

I know dd is much younger, six months, but she's just had 14 days of the same. We saw doc twice. As she continued feeding and had wet nappies they didn't worry but did do a poo sample for analysis. Might be worth asking for that? Hope things improve soon.
