Son with tic feeling upset at classmates comments

My son has had a head tic for a few months now. We have been to the doctor and are waiting on a hospital appointment. He came home from school today really upset as a boy in his class had been mimicking him who then told another child to say he was sorry. He has said a few kids have asked him why he has been doing it and he said it's a tic and he is waiting to go to hospital. Most kids have been fine with this, but one of his 'friends' didn't believe he is going to hospital. I was so upset then very angry about the boy mimicking. I am going to see the Head Teacher in the morning and want my son to lead the discussion about whether he wants to let the HT know who mimicked him. He says he doesnt want all the kids to know, but I assume most of them have noticed, and suggested to him it might be easier if they all know and are aware it is not something he can stop.

No advice but didn't want your post to go unnoticed. Kids can be horribly cruel. I hope the Head is understanding and deals with the bullies. I hope your DS is ok.
