Hi we used carobel with some success for silent reflux, we found it a real faff to use but it seemed to help
After weaning and solids going really well we trialled stopping it. Things were ok for a week in fact he slept through for the first time for 3 nights in a row ! Then it all went down hill!
I wanted to try gaviscon instead of carobel to see if it helped him sleep better.
He then got really bad but found out he had throat and ear infection - 2 antibiotics later have had all clear from gp but he is absolutely dreadful at night screaming wanting bottle then only drinking an ounce or two really uncomfortable and windy.
So think need to restart carobel
Just wondering if anyone used carobel and how long they had to use it for - ds is 8 months now and I thought he would have grown out if reflux by now :(
