i have a 7 week old baby who is just getting over 2 nearly 3 weeks of oral thrush after 3rd lot of treatment.. before she was diagnosed with thrush she was happy and contented and fed well. over the last week or so she has taken to crying terribly in the evenings , seems miserable when awake and is bringing back what can be described as like curdle milk after feeds ( she is also finicky with her feeds taking smaller feeds more frequent) when she cries she stretches out stiff and arches her body like shes in pain ..its so distressing to see. HV said to elevate mattress and try a next flow teat in her bottle . tbh we put a lot of the behaviour down to the thrush but now that's clearing im not so convinced im suspecting its reflux . we spend a lot of time trying to get wind up and sometimes get some big burps but sometimes it seems like she gets a bad taste or something then cries . her sleep is odd hour here and there ... shes putting on weight ok although not as much the last week due to feeding irregular

Sounds exactly like my DD was, she had oral thrush for 8 weeks, treatment didn't work it just cleared up on its own

She also had reflux, sounds like from what you describe your DD does too, she would only sleep upright or on her tummy until she was given reflux meds

DD was put on gaviscon which worked really well for her, I would go to your GP
