Mucus in poo

My sons childare told me he had mucus in his poo today (poo coloured) and that one if them thought it was too do with intolerances (he isn't ill/snotty)
Anyone know??

Not necessarily. The bowel produces mucus all the time and sometimes it is noticeable. Normally not anything to worry about. If it keeps happening, if he appears to be in any discomfort or has any other symptoms then may need to visit GP to rule out any bowel problems or infections.
