Knee pain, flat feet, hyper mobility

Hi all, I'm hoping for some advice please about my 8 year old who has flat feet and hypermobility. They have been fitted with insoles that seem to help but still suffers from pain on the inside of the knee (where it wants to rotate inwards)

Is it worth a trip to the GP? Chances are its the hyper mobility causing it but what can they do? I remember at dc's age my never ending round of hospital appointments and physio visits starting for the same reason and 22 years later none of it had helped.

Any thoughts?

I should add that they have had a massive growth spurt recently and are exceptionally tall at 139cms in height which I think has also contributed to it.

My ds is amongst other things hyper mobile. He is only 5 but has just started complaining about "his bones hurting" a little like you I am unsure the best approach. I will take him to see a podiatrist and get some orthotics. I hate giving him ibuprofen too much but it does at present seem
To work. His current pain is shoulders. No idea what to do there! Hmm
Growth spurts suck! Maybe look at a different pain relief.
I agree that long term lots if different therapies and aids may make no difference. I have my ds swimming. I hope this may improve his poor muscle tone and in turn support his hyper mobile joints. Grin
