My DD has recently approached me with a slight problem. She has a small area on one of the lips down below that looks similar to two blackheads. We've been to see a GP about it a week ago and she wasn't sure what it was. The area looked ever so slightly inflamed so the GP prescribed an antibiotic cream which my dd has been using twice a day for the last week. The cream hasn't resolved the problem. DD says that it's sore to touch and sometimes itchy.
Further search on google has shown that it could be anything from blocked sweat glands to simple ingrown hair.
Has anybody had any similar experience, I'm just not sure what our options are now...
